Whoo, boy.
I have certainly been doing a lot recently. The Vampire Detective 2: Second Grace is now on its sixth chapter, and going strong. I've done a couple of pictures for it, but unfortunately they're mostly only colourations of japanese fanarts, so are unlikely to appear on the net. I suppose I could send them to individuals if I was asked politely and if they promised not to use on their sites, but other than that... it's kinda depressing. I like - really like - them. Especially the uber-cute one of Conan asleep on the sofa with a book still open. Makes me go 'aww' every time :)
Wire in the Blood is going well, too. On the third chapter, and already nearly 4000 words and not yet finished by far. Not to mention that it hasn't even got past morning - there's still a lot happening. Gonna be fun fun fun!
Going back to TVD-verse, I've been coming up with detailed histories for Mina and Fritz. If anyone wants to know what they are, I'll be writing them at some point and posting them once TVD has finished the main body of its canon. Since Mina and Fritz are my own characters, and the world setting basically my own too, I'll be putting all of their stories before TVD up to a FictionPress.com account (not yet registered, but will). As is, there is going to be Mina's story, Fritz's story, and the lead-up to the events that happen in TVD. I like writing them - it should be a fun ride, if a little involved. I don't mind saying that both sides of their stories will be containing mature events. If you consider such things they'll be involving as mature. Certainly I wouldn't want a pre-teen to read them.
I've got a couple of other stories I'm working on, too. One's called Clocks, named for the Coldplay song, and the other - which I haven't started - is called Invert. Clocks and Invert are sort-of AUs to Relative Truth. At least, Clocks definitely is. I'm still deciding about Invert. Both should be interesting. Both involve both Edogawa Conan/ Kudo Shinichi and Kuroba Kaito.
I feel like beating up the person who put an alert on Fix This Broken Boulevard. I really do. With Notebooks. Damn you, I've got enough stories to work on, without you making my plunnies to reproduce! Now you've gone and given me ideas. Ideas are dangerous, you know... Especially when they include Kuroba Kaito (or the Kaitou Kid), Hakuba Saguru and an omitted scene from the third DC Movie. AND one scene that happens in between those two. You're MEAN. Yes, you. *sulks*
The next Random Relativity is going to be called 'Men of Science' and is a Fullmetal Alchemist / Doctor Who crossover. Just a short thing, really, but longer than Teetotal and probably even To Protect Without Killing, since it has the slightest bit more plotline than the others. And talking of RRs, I have one or two extra Phantom Magic scenes I'm going to write at some point. Don't hold your breath, though.
I've recently been reading a lot. Or rather, I've got a lot to read. I've been reading the Keys to the Kingdom series by Garth Nix - I've finished Lady Friday, but haven't started Superior Saturday - and at the moment I've got a bookmark in Temeraire, a book about dragons in the Napoleonic wars by Naomi Novik. I've also got Double, Double by Ellery Queen waiting (and it's been waiting for a while), the first of the Bartimaeus Trilogy - this the fault of the one who wrote the crossover between that and DC and the artist I watch who likes the books - and also the novel version of Wicked, the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. Not to mention I only just got what looks to be a hilarious (not to mention useful, for the Mina backstory) book called Mr Darcy, Vampire. You read that right, the Mr Darcy from Pride and Prejudice. Reason why it looks hilarious is that it's written in an old style, but at the same time laughing at itself and taking itself seriously, from what I've seen so far. Should be a good read.
Live long, and may the Plunnies prosper.

music: Wicked: The Musical
I can't remember if I've ever written this up anywhere where I haven't had to worry too bad about space. But here goes:
Harry Potter
Harry/Ginny
Hermione/Ron
Draco/Hermione
Draco/Ginny (less than the above)
Sev (that is, Severus Snape)/Lily Evans
Various other canon pairings
Yu-Gi-Oh
Anzu (Tea)/ Yugi(Atemu), Kaiba, Ryou Bakura (not the spirit), Jonouchi (less than the others). Just about any relevant guy, but only one pairing per fic, please.
Honda/Shizuka
Jonouchi /Mai
Naruto
Naruto/Hinata
Sasuke/Sakura (Yes, I do ship them. But only when it's done well.)
Shika/Ino
Neji/Tenten
Kakashi/Rin
Asuma/Kurenai
Rurouni Kenshin
Mainly Canon Pairings.
Kenshin/Kaoru
Sano/Megumi
Yahiko/Tsubame
Aoshi/Misao
Bleach
Ichigo/Rukia
Ishida/Orihime
Hitsugaya/Karin
Urahara/Yoruichi
Shunsui/Nanao
Detective Conan/ Case Closed + Magic Kaito
Shinichi/Ran
Hattori/Kazuha
Kogoro/Kiseki
Kaito/Aoko
Hakuba/Akako
Takagi/Sato
Mitsuhiko/Ai
Shiratori/Kobayashi
DNAngel
Daisuke/Riku
Risa/Dark (onesided, no prizes which way)
Satoshi/Risa
Risa/Krad (extension of the above, really)
Argentine/Towa
Fullmetal Alchemist
Ed/Winry
Al/Winry (only if something truly awful and life-ending happens to Ed. No other way, but I'm admitting it could happen)
Roy/Hawkeye
Hughes/
I used to, before I knew about Winry, ship Ed/Rose. That was when I only knew of the first manga and the first few episodes, though.
I watch and read a whole lot more, and if you really are that desperate you can ask me about any of my other pairings. Some series, I've left off this list because there aren't enough to warrant a section, such as GO, etc. Any OCs so far are only paired with other OCs, like with Fritz and Mina from TVD. In any other cases, it'd just be a case of me feeling like it really fits, and only if there aren't any canon characters left to take the role.

Well, not me exactly - more like my stories and art. My art for one is getting better all the time, and it helps that I've started to post almost as soon as I've finished some things, such as the picture of Sora from Kingdom Hearts in my DA account. I've also made a move on a few pictures that needed colouring, even though I have no tablet. I'm using the old mousepad trick again, being that I have no mouse (or rather, that I have a laptop and this is easier for me since I don't use the mouse). Hopefully, there should be some newly coloured DNAngel Harada Rescue manga pages being posted up soon.
The Vampire Detective 2: Second Grace is coming along nicely. I know where I am with it, more or less. Mina and Fritz have already appeared to Shinichi and Kaito, though Shinichi's encounter with Mina's going to be elaborated on more in the first section of the next chapter. There is also going to be a rather. . . significant event happening sometime around the end of it, too. But no, I'm not going to say anything; other than that it was hinted at slightly in the first chapters of TVD1. It's gonna be FUN.
Kyouson, my DNAngel story, is close behind and taking over. I've already got a few A5 pages written up, and it's going quite nicely, leading up to certain decisions and events - the closest is the thing described in the first picture I posted on DA, one deviation entilted 'A Warning of a Summer's Day'. I may edit it sometime in the near or far future, though, since Dark's arm is wonky. Or double-jointed. Take your pick. On another note, there's a reason it's rated T. It's for later scenes. No sex or anything like that x_X but definitely for slightly more-than-mild language and violence in some of the middle/later chapters and mentions of suicide (failed, I'll have you all know now. Won't tell you how, though - that'd be spoiling it all).
I'm really very caught up in those two stories, yet I know that I should be doing other things as well. Such as HP+tCS, where I've only written one paragraph of the next chapter but know what happens in the coming chapters after it, and not to mention TDID, which has only 800-ish words yet STILL Luke hasn't gotten off of Tatooine. And don't remind me of OAME. Just don't. It hasn't gone further than a single (albeit very well written) chapter. At least there's still hope for it, though. . .
On the subject of Star Wars and sci-fi, I recently went to the London Film and Comic Con (do they call it anything shorter, please?). I met and talked to lots of nice, famous, people. Dominic Keating (Malcolm Reed from Enterprise) didn't like my sister's shoes. Katchansky from Red Dwarf liked her perfume. Cat from the same show asked me what the thing around my neck was (it was a Konoha hitae-ate, worn like Hinata wears hers, around her neck), and Jake Lloyd (nine-year old Anakin Skywalker) likes my laugh.
Sweet.
I've also seen the musical Wicked, and I'm now hooked on the song Defying Gravity. Elphaba picture in my DA account.

First Edition Good Omens and Too Many Stories
Jul. 11th, 2009 | 11:00 pm
music: Labyrinth soundtrack
Today when I went out, I went into a charity bookshop I know. Found American hardback first edition copy of Good Omens, good condition, too - if you ignore the fact that there's a black marker cross if you look down on it from above, and there's the price in pencil - 1.99! I can't believe they price valuable books so cheap! - on one of the inner pages. I couldn't help myself. I got it. God knows, I may one day find myself at a Terry Pratchett or Niel Gaiman signing. Then it'd be worth even more of a fortune ^_^
I am thinking, though, of putting it on Ebay or advertising it on Lower Tadfield or something. I already had one copy (thus my mum didn't understand why I went into raptures about this one) and I'm happy with it. But for now It stays with me. Mostly because I have no Ebay or penpal/whatever account.

At the moment, I'm working on Kyouson. Still. Third. Chapter. Other things in progress are TVD2, still same chapter as before (but with addition of two arts for previous chapter) and Fanning the Flames, the prequel to that Naruto / YYH crossover I kept talking about before. I keep looking for art to be inspired by, but it's really hard. There's hardly any proper art for Naruto that's not yaoi, not simply a one person portrait, not a screencap and not a scene that wouldn't fit in my story. Usually I get along fine, but here it's a little irritating. Especially since when I look for pics of Naruto the main character, I come up with just about everything, being that his is the name of the show -_-
I am, however, slowly getting places. I'm also starting to update TVD and Kyouson on their relative livejournal communities (

Crossover: the Prequel (+fic update)

I think in my last post, I mentioned a possible Yu-Yu-Hakusho crossover with Naruto. Guess what? It now has a prequel. The original idea was to have the main event being Kurama drop by Konoha, but I wanted Sasuke to be there too yet also have been to Orochimaru before... at first, not knowing whether or not it was canon where the guy comes back to Konoha before the events in Shippuden. (It's not. Manga part 1 stops at just after the Valley of the End. I checked.) Still, that's how I wanted it to go, so I made up my own plotline, thus making an AU. One where Sasuke returns to Konoha, but seems to be hiding something. Unlike with the DC/YGO/DNA crossover series, I plan on doing the prequel FIRST. I think it's gonna be good ^_-
TVD2 Second Grace (Funny how I hardly ever actually USE the name, just calling it 'the sequel' or 'TVD2'...) is coming along nicely. I'm onto chapter three, now, and over a thousand words in. I'm also finding that I like writing Akako, for some reason o_O It's darker to start with, and to end with, but there are gonna be lots of fun bits, not to mention that it's fun to write. So saying, I've drawn two pics for the second chapter. One is in the interrogation room with Kaito and Shinichi, and the other is out in the hall, featuring a wet-headed Kaito (Shinichi found a better use for his glass of water, btw). I think they're the first actual TVD illustrations I've done that aren't just of my original characters.
Kyouson's coming along, and is actually starting to get more attention! Not much, for sure, but still... I'm on to chapter three. Most of it's already written down in notepad form (a lot of this fic is, except for chapter two) and I just have to type and finish. This one's mostly Satoshi+Krad centric, with the twins thrown in sometimes to spice things up. Hint -- there is talk of shopping. The first pic I drew for the story should come into play sometime soon, too.
Conversations with a friend have spurned DNAngel/Star Trek plunnies when they (as a more Sci-Fi fan than manga-fan) wondered how Krad's hair and cross stayed afloat. Apparently, it's twenty-something century technology that got transported here somehow a while back. Don't ask how, we're working on it. You're free to leave opinions, though.
...recently bought DNAngel vol.11 and plan on getting more. Have grown into habit of wearing Naruto hitae-ate (forehead protector) around neck. Wants Heartless plushie and Naruto Shippuden figurines, and has Bleach ones... *is now free to ogle Ulquiorra, Ishida and both styled Ichigo-tachi at any time* Heh heh...

Vampire Detective original characters and Naruto challenge

music: Windows Media Player Randomness
So. My tablet's breaking down on me - or it could just be that something's wrong with either the USB or thing I plug into it - meaning I can't draw onto the computer so easy. Or colour. Which is annoying. Very.
I completed that second chapter of Kyouson, but I've still had only about 80-90 page views for it. I'm thinking of changing the summary slightly, even. I know that it's a good fic, darnit!
TVD Second Grace is coming along slowly. The ideas are coming, though. So far, a person is on their way to see another person. I haven't written much more in the new section, but it's open on my desktop right now, honest! In other matters TVD related, in one or two chapters there's going to be the reappearance of the original characters who first made their debut in ... what was it, chapter three? They now have names, and full characters / personalities. The woman is called Mina, but isn't the original Mina Harker of Dracula fame. In fact, I've always seen her as having come from the more northen European area. Around Russia/ Poland type of place. She's not been around for as long, either - just over a hundred or something, I'd say. She knows a fair bit about vampires and the supernatural world, but not everything by a long shot. She encountered Fritz in 1950's New York. Fritz himself is based primarily off of the character of the same name in an Eighth Doctor BBC book. My version likes leater jackets, american type food (but isn't afraid to try other stuff sometimes) and motorbikes. He's ususally really quite a sweetie, a real nice guy. But it wouldn't be good to make either of them mad. Mina's got experience wtih life; Fritz has experience having grown up with American gang warfare. His name's also a joke. The name 'Fitz' means 'boy' or 'son of'. 'Fritz', however, is when things go wrong. Y'know, something gone in the fritz. Or something. It's more like a nickname than anything, though - he does have a real name.
To Dwell In Dreams is plodding and limping along. I finally got around to typing up some stuff I had in notebooks, only to realise that one of the things I'd written didn't match with the script for A New Hope that I was writing to. (Yes, I'm writing events that happened in the first movie. Always been planned. I hope I could get to later stuff quicker, though. Poor Luke's still stuck on Tatooine.
New plunnie, and a Challenge for anyone who sees this page and writes Naruto!
I had a dream. In that dream, Team Seven were in some kind of sanitarium (health retreat). They're there on a mission for some reason. While they're there, someone in their group (ie, there's more than just Kakashi, Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto) noticies that there's someone very familiar there. It's the Yondaime, or Namikaze Minato, and in this AU version we're ignoring recent events in the manga. He's alive, and he survived sealing the Kyuubi into Naruto by a hair's breadth. Thing is, the people in the sanitarium don't want him to regain his memory, and especially not when Naruto's in the same place...
If you can mak it work, I would be greatly thankful and offer advice, beta and art.
I'm now 20!!!!! (Five exclamation marks. The sure sign of insanity.)

Fic Update
Jun. 6th, 2009 | 08:48 pm
location: Somewhere in between Beika-chou and Azumano
mood:
tired
music: Inuyasha - Change the World
There's this DNAngel story I'm writing. Called Kyouson, has so far one chapter written with so far only 41 hits and a second chapter (which is more like the first, with the previous being like a prologue) being written at the moment with just under 6000 words. Soon, it'll be ready to post. And with it, several pictures i drew what feels like weeks ago, which would be spoilery if I posted them now. The next chapter of TVD2 Second Grace has a new section written in it, but is still nowhere near completion. Coming Shadows has only a couple paragraphs or so, but plenty of ideas. 30 Friends: Satoshi + Daisuke has about four or five chapters finished that aren't put up yet because they're out of sequence (I'm trying to do it in numerical order) and I'm in the middle of writing number eight.
I also have a Good Omens story that might or might not be the beginning of the BtVS/Angel/GO crossover I planned but never seriously started writing, but I'm not sure. The bit written that I'm talking about starts on a plane, anyway. Another unfinished plunnie is Neverwhere/Good Omens, which concentrates on what might have happened if Richard, Door and possibly the Marquis had met up (somehow, and brobably something that gave Richard the fright of his life) with Az and Crowley before seeing Islington at all. I'd imagine it'd change things quite a bit. Also coming up (hopefully) is a crossover between Inuyasha and YYH where Kagome meets Kurama twice, once in the Sengoku Jidai and another time in Heisei/ modern times. Not to mention that I started to scribble for a possible second chapter to A Chance Encounter (Inuyasha/YGO). A Naruto/YYH fic has bitten, too. Post Makai tournament with a slight twist of possible AU for YYH and possibly post chuunin exam for Naruto, with the only restriction that Sasuke has to be there too, which also means that before I write any of the Naruto part of this one, I'd have to read all the manga for the relevant section >_<. I've only written possible summary, though. Oh, and I keep thinking of different ways that I could write a Rurouni Kenshin / Naruto crossover with the RK stuff based off of Vathara's All I Need Is A Miracle and the Naruto stuff set anytime that has Jiraiya in.
And you wonder why my updates take so long. This, I tell you, is why. Because there's so much going on in my head, and that's not even counting real life.
On other important subjects, It's my Birthday this Thursday!!!!!

Tagged by http://marsdejahthoris.livejournal.com/p rofile when I commented on hers ^_- Comment on mine and I have tot pick three of yours for you to do.
1. What got you into this fandom in the first place?
2. Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
3. Favorite episodes/books/movies, etc?
4. Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
5. Do you think more people should get into this fandom?
Rurouni Kenshin
1. - Er. I'm not certain I even remember properly now. Possibly - ah. That's it. Media Studies class. The teacher brought in a manga volume to look at, and it was the first RuroKen volume. Got interested. Proceeded to devour both manga and anime, but ducked out of anime after the Shishio arc. Things got filler-y then.
2. - I think I'll stay. It's not something I'm in quite as deeply as others, but it's there steadily.
3. - I've got volumes 1, 5 and 6 on my shelf, but I have other favorite episodes. Seeing Hiko teach young Kenshin by experience, priceless. Also a filler moment where the dog they're supposed to be looking after starts digging holes, and Kenshin-gumi end up at the dirt end. Doryuusen. x_x
4. - No fanfiction yet, though I always wanted to do a RuroKen/Naruto crossover that was original. At first inspired by a lot of For the Love of My Friends, by Foxie-sama. I've done a small bit of art, including one recent piece for one of Vathara's stories, which absolutely LOVE.
5. - I think a lot of people are still in the fandom, actually. It would be nice to see more (well done) crossovers, since that's how I usually read it, though.
Good Omens
1. - I remember exactly. Lizeth posted up a crossovers list, and one of them was Supernatural/Good Omens. I'd vaguely remembered Supernatural, but Good Omens was half by Terry Pratchett, from whom I got my humour. Read the crossover, loved it, went out and bought the book as soon as I was able. Fan ever since.
2. - Difficult. I think I'll stay. That doesn't mean I will. It's surprisingly hard to find fan fuel for this fandom. Most of the fic and art are pairing up the two (male, or at least man-like) main characters. Which the authors say isn't canon, and I don't like. I still like the book, though. It's one of my favorites.
3. - Well, it is a book itself. But I rather like the flaming Bentley, moulding hot chocolate, and the bit at the end where everyone gets together to save the world from ending. ^_^
4. - I've written various short stories, planned a longish one (never got around to) and doodled a bit. Not much more, but people seem to like the stories I have written n_n
5. - Definitely. I'd ssay it's a must-read for anyone who likes humour, along with angels and demons. There is by far not enough art, and like I said before, not enough het/gen stories out there. No fair, peope!
Detective Conan / Magic Kaito
1. - One name. Lizeth. I think that one of the first things I saw of hers was a DC/Artemis Fowl crossover of some kind. At the time I had no idea who the Shounen Tantei or even who Mouri Kogoro was, so I was more than a little confused. Proceeded to half ignore the series due to length for ages before reading Becky Tailweaver's Relative Truth, which has become since then a sort of personal pocket-dimensional canon for me. I live in hope. I only started to read it, uh, months ago. Took me quite a while, but now I'm up to looking on OM every week for updates P_^
2. - I'll stay. The characters are original and one of a kind, which allows you to do a lot with them. I don't think I've found any novels that have teenage detectives in them, which is a bit of a shame. I've always been more drawn to the teen section rather then the 'fiction' or the 'crime'. It expects to have to keep you hooked each minute, not to have you get up and make a cup of tea halfway through... *grumbles*
The fact that the manga is ongoing and doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon helps more than a bit. Canon is constantly growing and the characters maturing.
3. - Anything with Kaitou Kid in it, or fully grown Kudo Shinichi. The official drawings of Shinichi are that much rarer than those of Conan, so I treat them like the treat they are. Kid's a complex character in any situation, and his appearance can only mean something interesting happening, not to mention the opportunity to get to know who he is a little bit more. (Plus added bonus of 'is it gonna be this time Shinichi finds something else out?!' Come on, there's gotta be a canon reason they look so similar. Even if it does end up with the author ret-conning.)
4. - All of the above. My only finished multi-chaptered story is DC/MK, and I have various other shorts/crossovers, too. I colour / draw art for it, too. Not all that I colour is good, but that, as they say, is beside the point.
5. - YES. Come on, teen detectives and brilliant thieves, what's not to love? Not that those who are already in the fandom aren't fantastic, but we need more love, guys! Personally, I don't think there's enough Hakuba or Akako out there. Just about everyone else has something, but those two are sadly neglected. I try to rectify this, but one author/artist sadly isn't enough TT_TT
Fic Spam and Holidays

music: DNAngel vocal collection
Anyone who's been on my FF.Net page should recognise the names 'A SLight Misunderstanding' and 'Shadows in the Dawn'. The first is being written and the second is being posted. (For those of you who haven't, SLM is actually the first and SD is the second. They're being written at the same time, but posted the wrong way 'round.) They're crossovers. The first began when I was still very much into YGO - all of my crosses involved the card-playing cast. I was also only recently off of DNAngel. So - SLM. Not your general 'Both thieves go after the same target' fic, though. There happen to be a few twists to that. The second began a while after that, and the few paragraphs I'd done of SLM had been almost forgotton or lost. I started to read Detective Conan. Thus I wondered what it would be like to have Conan investigate Ryou from YGO. Which mutated into having the Conan and Kaito from Becky Tailweaver's Relative Truth investigating/ making friends with Ryou. Which mutated into something else, which is what you have now.
Somewhere along the line, the two got linked. You'll see how when the next one/two chapters of SD come out. But it happened. I thought it was over.
I was wrong.
Recently, I got back into DNAngel. As anyone can see from my fic archive. I now have one original story (Kyouson, and the main plotlines are first discovered in the chapter I'm writing) and one challenge fic wad (30 Friends: Satoshi and Daisuke. Because there's too much yaoi).
I was looking for japanese fanart at the time, and came across a site I'd been to before but I was now using the google translator, so I looked at more pictures. First came a pic of Hattori Heiji in front of a big photo and a white sillhouette of a girl. Then, Kaito, Hakuba and a green-haired girl. Then. . . Kaitou Kid vs Phantom Thief Dark. Helooo, plot bunnies. So now, it's a trilogy. Light, Shadow, Dark, MAGIC.
And no, they're not after the same target in this, either. Kind of.

On other things, starting tomorrow, I'm in Mallorca. First time abroard and it's so far away. . . I actually wish I could've gone to France or the top of Spain or something, but Mallorca will be nice. Plus, I now have foreign money of my own (I collect the stuff). I'd love to go to Japan, though. . .

Soho and Mayfair
Mar. 19th, 2009 | 06:22 pm
mood: accomplished
Yesterday, I went into London. Living as I do in Greater London, this wasn't actually the biggest part of the story, but rather the thing that made the going all the easier. I went armed with a map and a camera (all right, camera phone) and the memory of what various people had said about two particular locations. One in Soho, Just off of Wardour Street, and the other on Mayfair, in particular just around the back bit.
In short, I found the two most important locations in the book Good Omens, other than Tadfield, which I haven't tried to see if I can find out if it's even real or not yet. Firstly, Duck Lane - the supposed place where I had read somewhere that someone believed Aziraphale's bookshop is - happens to be just parralel to Wardour street, and a dead end, which (I think, as someone else has my copy of the book at the moment) is correct for canon. There's a music shop on one corner and a silks shop on the other corner. The lane itself looks like it has mostly modern offices and is filled down one side with motorbikes. The other side is slightly older-looking, and it was all in all not somewhere I felt surprised to be thinking a location for the Soho bookshop. Aziraphale's idea of a Bad Day is one where someone actually buys a book, after all.
For Crowley, first I found Grosvenor Square, which is where Mayfair is. It might or might not be worth mentioning that the first thing I saw as I went into the square was the American Embassy with its big golden-looking Eagle on the top. Adam's Row - the likely place for Crowley's flat - was right behind said Embassy building. Like with Duck Lane, there wasn't anything specifically special about it; offices and warehouses that might have used to have been stables, plenty of expensive cars and people coming back from or going to parties looking like humanoid penguins. That, however, I almost feel like justifying by means of the fact that demons are, by default, not the most trusting of creatures and would mostly prefer to work behind the scenes, even if said demon was a Flash Bastard that liked to show off and have plenty of gadgets. And houseplants. (Terrified, of course.)
I also went down Oxford street and bought a book (The Doomsday Machine, Another Astounding Adventure of Horatio Lyle), but as far as could see, no vehicles of any description went down the street at 110mph. Not even any black, vintage and Queen playing cars. (Unfortunately or not)
I may post pictures later. Fear them, for they came from a phone.

Hi. My name is Jasmine, AKA LeonaWriter, but it often sounds weird when people call me Leona, because that's actually the name of one of my first original characters. I'm getting used to it, though. I suppose I started onto Livejournal because this way, I can talk freely about the things I'm doing and the stories I'm writing without having to worry about going off topic. I thought that maybe something like this might be useful because I write so many stories and often there might be long gaps between chapters and people might believe that I've disappeared or I've given up on the story. Most likely, this isn't true.
On that note, my big story, Harry Potter and the Coming Shadows (YGO/HP crossover) isn't finished with, I'm just not writing it at the moment. I'm concentrating on the other story in the works, The Vampire Detective, which is a lot of fun to write. One of the main reasons is that the plot is entirely my own, and I don't have to follow anyone else's continuity. I call all the shots, and I can get away with murder, and quite literally too, since it's set in Detective Conan ^_^' . That story is set with two parts, really, and right now I'm still writing the first. The second part is actually the bit that I'm most looking forward to writing, because there 's going to be a lot of action and adventure and fun and games for all, not to mention new (not original) characters.
I'll most likely start writing HP&CS again once I'm finished with that story. In the meantime, I will be thinking up scenes and stuff still.
I do have a question, though, if you've read Detective Conan. It's so long, and I can't remember the first case where he wears that jacket with the 'K'. If anyone knows, please tell me? Otherwise, if anyone's got any questions for me, feel free to ask.
